LAP participates in energy development in Canada

Together with our partner ATS International, LAP offered GE Energy a solution to move over height and over width equipment from the manufacturers door in Malaysia to a jobsite in Alberta Canada 75 kilometers North of Fort McMurray.

LAP made the door pickup in Malaysia with a local lowboy trailers, the cargo was then transported to our terminal and transferred to the ocean carrier's flat racks.

The flat racks were then hauled to the port for loading at which point the customer required that the units be below deck in the vessel which was destined for Long Beach, CA. Upon arrival in Long Beach, the cargo was then reloaded on ATS equipment for trucking up to Canada. This was the first international shipment we completed for GE. LAP has become a preferred resource for cargo shipments in and out of Singapore.
